1Dial, Inc. runs a phone and text service that calls local businesses for you. You tell 1Dial what you need, and its automated voice agent calls restaurants, service companies, and shops to check availability, prices, and stock. It then texts you what they said.

The service

What 1Dial does

Some things are easier to find out with a phone call than online. 1Dial makes those calls for you. You call or text a 1Dial number and describe what you need. 1Dial finds businesses that might help, calls them, asks your questions, and sends you their answers by text. If you pick one, 1Dial can call back to book it.

What people use it for

  • Restaurant reservations and pickup orders
  • Repair and home-service visits
  • Quotes from movers, cleaners, and other local services
  • Checking whether a store has an item in stock

What 1Dial does not do

  • It does not sell products, run a marketplace, take payments, or deliver anything
  • It does not sell or share leads, personal information, or contact lists
  • It is not a general-purpose chatbot. It handles requests that need a call to a business

Pricing

1Dial is free to use

There is no subscription, no per-request fee, and no account to create. Businesses set their own prices for anything you book or order, and you pay them directly. Your wireless carrier’s message and data rates may apply.

Messages

Text messages (SMS)

Opt in: you say yes to a spoken consent question on a 1Dial call, or check the unchecked SMS box on our business waitlist form. Texting 1Dial first also starts a text conversation about your request.

Opt out: reply STOP at any time. Reply START to opt back in, or HELP for help. Full SMS consent details.

WhatsApp

Opt in: 1Dial messages you on WhatsApp only after you message 1Dial there first. Replies are about the request you sent, never promotions.

Opt out: send STOP and 1Dial stops messaging you. You can also block 1Dial in WhatsApp at any time.

Calls from this website

Opt in: if you enter your own number in the “Call me now” form, 1Dial places one call or sends one text to that number.

Opt out: reply STOP to the text, or tell 1Dial on the call that you don’t want to hear from it again.
